1 lb lean ground beef
1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
2 large garlic cloves, diced
3/4 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
Few dashes of Tabasco
Kosher salt and black pepper to taste
Brown the ground beef, onion, and garlic in a medium pan over medium heat. Drain. Add the remaining ingredients to the ground beef mixture and stir well. Cook on low for 30 minutes. Serve hot on brioche buns, with a side of cole slaw and chips. Makes 4 large sandwiches.
