Here is a recipe from my dad's file for jao-tze/pot sticker sauce.
¼ cup dark soy sauce
¼ cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
2 tablespoons minced garlic
½ teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons hot oil (optional)
Whisk all ingredients together and serve with pot stickers.
